UK's Dart beats Badosa to secure rare semi-final place in China

British tennis player Harriet Dart qualified for a WTA semi-final for just the second time in her career after she came from a set down to beat Paula Badosa in the quarter-final of the Guangzhou Open on Friday. The 30-year-old produced one of the biggest wins of her career, coming back from a set down to secure a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory and book her place in the final four of a WTA tournament for the first time since the Transylvania Open in 2024.
