FIFPRO calls for improved conditions across women’s professional game

Minimum global standards are required to promote more even growth in the women’s professional game, according to a new report from global players’ union FIFPRO. The report examining working conditions in the women’s game highlights that although the professional sport is on track to accrue global revenue of over one billion US dollars next year, professionals in many regions still barely earn the national minimum wage, and in some cases fall below it.
